We have been touched, moved, inspired, uplifted by the decency and humanity of Pope Francis, who continues to prove that he is willing to push back on his church's worst habits and meaner inclinations. He continues to focus its powerful attention on making the world a kinder, gentler place rather than invoking God and Jesus mostly to prevent gay people (and others who do not wish to procreate) from having sex. |
